YAY! I got a website set up. This will help people stay posted with what is going on during my track season, and keep you updated with my current times and where I am running. Pictures will be posted, as well as videos and times. Right now I am counting down the days until I leave for Norfolk Virginia to run in the AAU nationals, in which I will be competing in the 400 meters. Wish me luck and I will be sure to keep you posted!

Only a few more days left for nationals! I can't wait to go and see how well I can do. I also just found out that the track is green!!

Nationals is over but I had a lot of fun!! I won my heat in the 400 meter and placed 14th over all, I was hoping to medal (top 8 medal). I didn't run my personal best time, but I was pretty close because I ran a 58.96. The meet overall was really fun, but it was really hot! When I ran the air was really humid and it was 103 degrees out!! But it wasn't too bad when I was running, oh and the track was green! We were at Norfolk stadium and there were over 12,000 competitors this year. My team did really well considering how small we are, and just to highlight some things one of my team mates got the national record in the youth girls 100 meter with an amazing 11.86! The results from the enitre meet are posted online right now. This year was really fun, and I can't wait until next year! (pictures coming soon)

January 2011

YAY!! Track season is about to start for me! I have already started working out for this coming season, but I haven't stepped on the track yet, and so I am excited. At the end of the month I also might be doing an indoor meet at UW but I wouldn't be running the 400m. because I haven't trained for it yet this year. This year I won't be running for my club the whole time, and I get to run highschool track! I am really excited to start that and I hope to place at state in the 400m. and maybe even win in the 4X400! I am also hoping to beat my record of a 58.92 in the 400m. this year, and hopefully dip below a 58 and into the low to mid 57's! I can't wait and I will keep you posted on my meets, indoor and outdoor, and how I am doing this year. 2011 is going to rock! (I still can't get used to writing 2011, it took me long enough to get used to writing 2010)
